“My favorite part of the March was the Vigil for Life at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, I liked it because there were thousands of people in one church who were not only Catholic but all Pro-Life. It is nice to know that we are not alone in our Pro-Life pursuit,” said Senior Arcadia Mejia.

Mejia has attended the March all four years of high school.

The students went to Washington D.C. to stand up for what they believe in, along with thousands of other Christians.

“It’s important to me because the March for Life is not a vacation. It’s a pilgrimage, and we are all making the same sacrifices to protect the lives of everyone,” said Senior Sam Goulden

The students who went on the March returned January 28th and many look to the next year.

Seniors Sara Watson, Sam Goulden, Anthony Cascone, Amy Kallenberger, Ann Weirs, Arcadia Mejia and Sarah Koster are all smiles as they attend the March for Life. “Each year, the March for Life is getting more coverage and I think soon we will no longer have to go on the March because abortion will be illegal. I believe that we are the Pro-Life generation and that in my lifetime, we will see an end to abortion,” said Watson.
