Cole Elling, Freshman, is a multiple sport player with much talent. Despite getting hit in the face with a golf club, he has made a huge impression on the team, and is currently the number one player.

Q: How did you find your passion for golf?
A: My dad and my grandpa.
Q:How long have you played golf?
A: About 5 or 6 years.

Q: What has been the best thing about this season so far?
A: Probably being able to play with all my friends and getting to know more people.
Q: What is the funniest golf memory you can remember?
A: Mr. Parsons and Gino being funny and messing with each other on the bus rides.
Q: If you could play golf with anyone, living or dead, who would you chose?
A: Tom Watson. He’s one of my favorite golfers and he’s from Kansas City too.
Q: Do you do any other sports/activities?
A: I play basketball along with golf.
Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
A: I can juggle.
Q: If you were president for a day what’s the first thing you would do?
A: Something to help the issues with terrorism like preventing against terrorist attacks, I’m not sure exactly what though.
Q: Do you believe the cup is half empty or half full? Why?
A: I think it’s half full because I’m an optimistic person and try to look on the bright side of everything.
Q: If you could change your name what would you change it to?
A: Ricky Bobby because I love the movie Talladega Nights.
