Senior Joey DeFabio is an experienced and magnificent actor, which is why he is an obvious choice to be a director of a One Act performance. If you are interested in preforming in one of the many One Act opportunities, talk to a senior director. Photo by: Meghan Hayden

One Acts are coming up, and the directors for the shows are: Seniors Mari Torres, Ben Schmidt, Lydia Masnado, and Joey Defabio. SPX students are encouraged to tryout for one or all of the one acts that day.

This is a chance for Senior directors to take charge and hold auditions.

According to Masnado, she is looking for “All types of talent! Everyone is welcome to try out for One Acts, regardless of their acting experience.”

However, her specific show is a smaller cast, “…Probably  around 3-5 people,” although she is undecided which specific show she wants to do.

On the other hand, Schmidt has chosen his play and wants to do an episode of The Twilight Zone.

“I wanted to do this because I like plot twists and The Twilight Zone does that with almost every episode, so I figured it would be the perfect show.”

Defabio has decided to write an original one act for his piece. However, he does not want to go into complete detail, as to not spoil the show.

Audition dates are to be determined, so keep posted to the X Factor Twitter for more information.
