Spring workouts start this month and athletes may workout on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 4:15 PM in the SPX weight room. This is in hopes of Pius’ athletes gaining strength and agility.
“I hope we get a lot stronger,” said Coach Rick Byers.
The spring workouts will be similar to the Warrior Workouts football players participate in during their preseason. Warrior Workouts include: lifting weights, running drills and tackling exercises.
“It is a pretty intense workout to prepare for football,” said Coach Jeff Lynch.
