Ross scored high enough on the PSAT that he got invited to write an essay and fill out an application.  He then took the SAT and scored high enough on it to become one of about 16,000 semifinalists.

Around 15,000 kids go on to become finalists, which Ross hopes to become.  Once you become a finalist, you receive scholarships and extremely high honors.

Sometime in the coming months, Ross will find out if he becomes a finalist to receive National Merit Scholarships.  This is a great honor and will impress colleges and potential job opportunities.

“I am honored to be a part of this. I’m just taking it day-by-day,” said Ross.

In addition to doing his schoolwork, Ross likes to hang out with his friends and joke around.
